We have just completed the Annual Report for The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), which was established in 2001 to act as a catalyst for performance improvement in the mining and metals industry. For the ICMM to be effective, it needs to communicate to its members through ‘a clear dialogue'. This central concept needed to be communicated as the key catalyst that drives its work.
Subsequently, our creative execution of its 2010 Annual Report uses 'dialogue' as the central theme and features powerful black & white reportage photography of stakeholders, highlighting the progress the ICMM has made across the year.
The design of the report has a very clear information hierarchy: sections highlighting key achievements, benefits and 'killer facts' work with a running narrative to tell the year’s story in the most persuasive and compelling way.
This is a great example of how a printed Annual Report can effectively communicate to a diverse audience in an engaging and compelling way.
